69 TDIH -- (perhaps it is too well known to garner a mention)

Somewhat spoilt for choice today - I took my recently acquired 22/2/69 to listen to at work (Thanks Mr Miller !) then went for 1971. I almost started a thread on that headed 'What a Loser', but maddeningly work got in the way. Home now so I'll sit back and give your TDIH a proper listen.

This show looks like a good one.I do have a great update on my mission to get streaming music from my puter to my main rack four rooms away. I ran 2 5oft RCAs from puter to my Yamaha then got a y splitter into the computer, the other end just plugged into audio 1 of the YAM. I got a horrendous
gnd hum that was unbearable. I really thought all the work and wire was wasted. After yapping to gear heads on the Polksite and other sites they also thought that the lenght was way to long. While adjusting and tyrapping the rack I took out the HDMIcable from the amp and low and behold I've had absolutely clear HDCD all the time. The cord in question was only for on-screen adjustments which I don't even use.NOWI CAN BLAST ANY SHOW THROUHG MY h/t system and not just headphones any more....LW

Or, get headphone-to-rca jack converter and plug your laptop in to any of the inputs on the back of your stereo.

I assume yours is a desktop computer.......

How much did all that cable cost??

My computer is a desk top and is in my office/bdrm. Between all the corners turns and length in general it was definately closer to 40ft than 50. The cables were cheap at $8.69 per 50 so the entire order w the splitter was about$30 w/ shipping .I got them through cna.com and have a huge selection of wire and fittings to do almost anything
w/ electronics. Thanks for the interest it was well worth the effort to get those tunes to my big system....LW
